What this list covers. All 68,747 institutions on AISHE's register — 51,831 colleges that sit under a university and 16,916 standalone institutions (polytechnics, nursing, teacher training, paramedical and the rest). Of these, 7,973 have been assessed by NAAC — so a college with no grade shown is one NAAC has not assessed, not one we are missing a grade for.
