CLAT is the entrance test for the National Law Universities and is accepted by a number of other law schools. It covers integrated five-year undergraduate law programmes and one-year LL.M. programmes.
For the five-year programme, a pass in 10+2 with the minimum aggregate for the candidate's category. For LL.M., an LL.B. or equivalent.
A comprehension-led paper across English, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques, with negative marking.
